Matthew D’Urso #8 (F, L, 5’7″, 163, Lower Canada College, 07/25/2008) – D’Urso played as one of the best 2008 players, especially as one of the most aware on the ice. He is a player who remains very active and always seems to be aware of what is happening on the ice. He also showed leadership several times through his actions with his teammates. He is also a player with a good skill set, especially his shot. His release is quick and surprising; his coach uses him at the point on the power play. He was the best player on his team, and he was the youngest. The area to work on is undoubtedly his explosiveness on skates and his overall stride so that he can truly dominate at this level. Grade: B+
